Hi, I’m Alicia Ludwig, a Visual Development Artist and Character Designer from Germany with a passion for storytelling, design and collaboration.

🎬 Feature Film Experience
I’ve had the pleasure of working at Studio Rakete, where I contributed as a Designer and Assistant Art Director on the upcoming 3D feature Pirate Mo.

💼 Leadership Experience
I worked as Chief Design Officer at Zeedz, a game startup where I built the entire visual identity for a mobile game from the ground up. After the successful launch, I joined the team full-time as CDO and was head of an international team of artists, developing style guides, overseeing character, environment, and prop designs as well as continuously developing the original IP and story world.
📚 Designing Original Stories
Laila and the Firegod is my original animated Bollywood concept portfolio created under the mentorship of Will Weston. The project is inspired by my love for Bollywood, cultural research, and story-driven design.

🎨 Exploring Different Styles & Tools
I enjoy working across a variety of artistic styles, both digitally and traditionally. Blocking in 3D Models in Blender and Maya has become an efficient step in my design process.

🎓 A degree in Character Animation
I studied at The Animation Workshop in Denmark, following the character animation line while later focusing on designing for animation. I am comfortable in the 2D and 3D production pipeline and while my passion lies in design, I do know how to animate both 2D and 3D. ;)
